Taittinger
Taittinger remains a family-owned Champagne house located in Reims, the historic city of royal coronations. Its headquarters sit atop the 13th-century Saint Nicaise Abbey, where millions of bottles of premium champagne mature in ancient chalk cellars. Unusually for the industry, the house is led by a woman, the remarkable Vitalie Taittinger. Founded in 1734, Champagne Taittinger is one of the world’s most prestigious and oldest Champagne houses. Sustainability and responsibility guide the family’s philosophy, with Chardonnay taking center stage in all of Taittinger’s cuvées.
